In business since 1956, Post Alarm Systems does it all: residential and commercial security and fire systems, access and camera systems, medical alert systems, patrol and alarm response. “We personalize every system to meet our clients’ needs,” explains co-owner Gina Post-Franco. “We even do our own monitoring.”
Gina and Rob’s grandfather started Post for industrial security. Their parents advanced home security during its initial boom in the 1970s. Today, Post uses state-of-the-art technology to carefully handle their clients’ security, even keeping a backup for all of their alarms. And every potential employee is stringently screened. “Most of our workers have been with us for over 15 years,” Gina says. “We’re one of the only companies in our industry that demands pre-employment drug tests and polygraphs.”
Because each home is different, customers are given a complete walk-through, pre- and post-installation, as well as thorough instructions for operating Post’s systems with a home computer, tablet or smartphone.
Unlike most security companies, Post charges month-to-month. “We believe that we should earn our customers’ business every day,” says Gina. “When you’re a family-owned business, it’s personal. We treat our clients like members of our family.”
Post Alarm installed an alarm in our home with cameras and a touch screen key pad and also installed video surveillance on our condo. They were outstanding. The equipment works great, the service tech people were friendly, the pricing was competitive and I am very pleased with the result. I am going to do business with them again.

Post Alarm Systems has been in business in the area for many years. Their customer support and assistance is exceptional. Currently, Post is monitoring our office alarm system and they do a fabulous job. They stay updated with technology, test our system yearly and are always on time and great with follow up. The quality of their work is excellent.

I have only great things to say about Post Alarm. Their response time, whether it be a phone call or sending their armed patrol, is very good. I use their services at both my house and my office. The Post family is very involved in the community and really give back.

I had Post install new monitoring systems in my house and in two offices. They are fantastic: helpful, responsive and courteous. The installation was spotless. If there was something higher than "white glove" then that's what they should call their service. Their equipment is excellent, nothing has ever broken or malfunctioned. I had a problem that was my own fault and they came out and fixed it free of charge. Their customer service is above and beyond, they do such a great job.

Gina and Rob Post are solid, good people who run a family business that has been around for generations.They have done multiple jobs for us, alarming three of my homes and two businesses. They answer "yes" to all questions and they keep the company up to date with new technology, while keeping costs down. They recently bought an alarm screen vendor so they could keep that service in-house and pass the savings onto their customers.
I have referred them to my wife's aunt, who uses their drive-by service and loves it.

Post alarmed our home and our rental property. I am an interior designer and one thing I really like about working with Anthony is that he is very conscientious regarding aesthetic detail. I don't have to worry about system hardware or wiring interfering with the architecture. They also keep me updated on new technology and the cool, new monitoring devices that are available. We really like that they are a family-owned, small company with great customer service. We had a smoke alarm beeping on a Saturday night and Anthony came over and fixed it. They are always there when you need them.

Post Alarm Systems handled an upgrade in our residential system and also installed a monitoring system and alarm equipment in my business. I had been with another company for over twenty years and was looking for an upgrade in service and technology, and Post Alarm more than met my expectations. I was really pleased with the technology and its remote accessibility. Their service people are incredibly responsive, and every technician who has visited on a service call has been very friendly and helpful. I've been spoiled! As to pricing, given the rather dramatic uptick in the quality of the system and service, the fee change was really nominal. I'm a big fan of Post.

From the start, Post Alarm has always treated me with respect. In every regard they make good on their commitments, from scheduling to showing up on time to the installation and service. We feel like we are treated like part of their family in terms of how concerned they are with our satisfaction. I can't remember ever being on hold for more than 30 seconds for any reason. With most national brands, the salesman shows up and once you sign a contract that's it - everything is outsourced and if you have a problem you're calling an 800 number and talking to a stranger. With Post Alarm whether it’s service, sales, patrols or monitoring, there is no passing the buck or transferring to another department. The Post family stands behind everything. I know who I am dealing with. I feel that my family is safer because I know that there are people in-house working for Post handling the calls. It’s a family owned business and it shows in everyone’s attention to detail.
